About Medlin Middle School
Medlin Middle School, located in Trophy Club, serves families in the eastern portion of Northwest ISD, where it is known for its commitment to rigorous academics and promotion of leadership and integrity.
The school is named in honor of the local Medlin family, who first settled the area. Charles, Matilda and Lewis Medlin migrated to the area from Missouri in 1847 with 20 other families. Charles and Matilda had 13 children who made their mark on the area. The families originally lived in a settlement located northeast of what is now Roanoke, but flooding forced them to resettle in what is now Trophy Club.
At Medlin, students are known for their commitment to the community, regularly engaging in service projects and other forms of charity. The school strives to provide students with the education and guidance necessary to prepare for high school.
Medlin is known for its strong extracurricular involvement, with high student participation rates in a wide variety of groups, such as Destination Imagination, student council and more.
